I live in a swamp, in the country. Its quiet out there, just fresh air, and buffaloes and marsh birds. If you'd like to wake up and smell the wood fires, if you'd like to bathe in cold well water and eat good healthsome stuff that just grows wild, come stay with me...but leave those gadgets behind, please

why this cow went off milk
www.peta.org is not a site for the faint hearted, nor should you visit it if you want to continue enjoying your burghers. and if you want to visit a website which actually worked on me, a simple bit of http which totally changed my life, then step where angels fear to tread. www.milkgonewild.com
its nasty, its pukish and its logical. .True hell is a place on earth,in fact ,if you are a lactating bovine mammal- its earth . You will never be able to forget these sites, so be warned.

Which sort of Burghers do you mean, then? The common or garden Dutch variety, or the slightly more exotic German, English, Irish, etc?
is that THE David Blacker? -wow I cant believe you read what I write.I need my smelling salts!
Seriously I thought that book was WORLD CLASS, up there with the likes of Wilbur Smith and Alistair Ma*Clean...
thanks for dropping by and dont be silly, you know *essactly* what i mean.
the author begs forgiveness for the unfortunate typo in the above para. this log was made in a hurry and I now realise the H in burgher isnt actually silent.
Hello out there...just to notify you all- I havnt been able to yet.
I mean, you know:- enjoy a burgher
I type one letter wrong, a letter thats usually silent, mind you- and what do you know-reckerpussions...sigh.
who is this woman anyway?anyone know this Colombo-Scully charachter?
Mr Blacker,please ignore her.
Thanks, Al. Glad you liked the book.
That's one exotic name, babe. What's it mean, and what's the story?
-(pregnant, slightly *thoughtful* pause)-
who. me? or her..?
You, of course.
Scully, Burg(h)ers are like sex -- even a bad one is pretty good.
al Juhara, as you know is arabic for "the Jewel" as in Al juhara al harem...etc
I find most things Arabic beautiful, exotic ,vibrant, vivid and occasionally morbidly fascinating, like forensic pathology(another of my wierd childhood interests.) the music drives me catatonic,Im addicted to their cooking and sometimes I dream in Arabic.
their chauvanism and disrespect for human or womens rights is however REVOLTING, but I shall say no more since I dont want to be the target of "fatwhaa"
You could call it a love hate relationship.
as a foot note:
I was once the jewel in someone's harem, the agrra bisawa or chief consort so to speak.
then i got tired of sharing my primate and walked out,and Ive never looked back
:-)
aw, Im not choosy... its just that I never got the chance. Leave aside good, bad or ugly, everyone remotely LUCID has left Colombo a little while back,I fear.
Yeah, the music's cool, especially Rai. Was in Beirut for a bit some years ago, and it was fantastic.
Going on blogs, Scully, it sometimes looks like that, I agree. But never fear. The truth IS out there.
